On Palm Sunday, the entry of Jesus Christ into the city of Jerusalem is celebrated. Coming from the city of Bethany on a donkey, Jesus, asked His disciples to go to Jerusalem. At the hearing of his coming, the people, with more joy and enthusiasm, welcomed Him with bay leaves in their hands, while others even spread their clothes on the street! And as he entered into the city, they cried out together, Hosanna; Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel. His entry into the city of Jerusalem also symbolizes His entry into His earthly passions.
